A favourite among Indians, Canada is one of the most sought-after immigration programs in the country. A western democracy that is pro-immigrants, Canada is filled with attractive employment opportunities and a better lifestyle. Our professional assessment allows you to secure a firm footing in a country that has affordable healthcare, a robust economy and excellent educational opportunities. It all begins with a call to our team of professional experts. Our experts help you identify the most suitable Canadian visa to choose from. As the visa requirements continuously change, the processing time has reduced from years to merely a few months. Protecting Canada’s Immigration System Act, 2012 mandates the usage of biometric data obtained from the candidate to process the visa.

The basic requirements for most visas include:

R

Candidate must be 18 years or older

R

Candidate must possess work experience of at least 1 year in the previous 10 years

R

Candidate must be proficient in either English or French.

Canada’s immigration programs grant visas to temporary and skilled workers, family, employment sponsorship, student visas, asylum and provincial/territorial visas. Applicants are expected to take a medical test approved by the Canadian government. They must also procure a police certificate from their home country.

Based on the points you secure in the electronic selection system, an applicant receives an “invitation to apply” for which the applicant has to file the required documents in the stipulated time frame.

Federal Skilled Work Program

A high skills profession/related profession helps one secure a Skilled Work Program Visa for aspiring immigrants. For categories like skilled professionals, investors, dependent families, etc. they may apply under this category once eligible under the Canada Express Entry System.

The FSTP is managed by the Express Entry Canada online to give skilled workers of different backgrounds the chance to get a permanent residency abroad. The Canadian government publishes a list of skilled trades in accordance with the National Occupation List (NOC). The NOC has five skill levels commencing from skill 0 to skill A, skill B, skill C and skill D. Our consultants help you identify which level you fall in to and help you assess if your work experience meets the requirement set by the NOC. These are trades that are in shortage in the country. International, as well as temporary profiles, can submit their profiles to see if they get picked. The FSTP program gives you a chance at a quick shot for permanent residency and eventually, citizenship.

To fulfil the FSTP criteria, an applicant must meet certain conditions:

R

The applicant must meet the job requirements for skilled trade set out in the NOC

R

The applicant must have a full-time job offer for at least one year from a Canadian Employer. If not, the applicant must have a certificate of qualification issued by a provincial, territorial or federal Canadian Authority

R

The applicant must display adequate French/English ability.

R

The applicant must possess 2 years of full-time work experience or its equivalent in part-time work experience in the last 5 years.

The FSTP does not have any strict educational requirements; however, having some level of qualifying education helps give your profile an edge over others. To submit your application, we require some necessary documents like a valid passport and travel document along with your language test results, education credential assessment report and a written job offer from an employer in Canada. Once you get invited to apply for a PR, you require additional documents including police certificates which determine that you possess a clean criminal record, medical exams to determine your good health and proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your travel and first few months in Canada.
