A Canadian Investor Visa is a visa meant for those who intend to start a business in the Canadian jurisdiction. This type of visa is for those applicants who can invest in a business.

Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Visa:

This visa is for individuals with a personal net worth equal to or greater than $10 Million CND. Investors applying for this type of visa must have a minimum at-risk investment of 2 million CND towards the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Fund of Canada.

Start-Up Visa:

This type of Visa is specifically for people who have a significant amount of work experience and have businesses of their own. A business that is owned and managed within the Canadian borders that boosts the financial progress and employment opportunities may choose to opt for a Start-up Visa. This visa must be backed by at least one of the organizations listed on Canada’s start-up Visa Designated Organizations list.

Self – Employed Immigrant Visa:

Applicants that possess significant experience in cultural activities, farm management or class athletics have a visa explicitly designed for them, namely the Self Employment Immigrant Visa. Immigrants that have reasonable means and potential may opt for this visa.
